4.1 Principle of the test

W3/330 adopts the principle of electrolytic sensor test. The nitrogen with stable relative humidity flows on one side of the film, and the dry nitrogen flows on the other side of the film. Due to the humidity gradient, water vapor will diffuse through the film from the high wet side. 5, the test process

(1) Cut 3 pieces of 108 mm × 108 mm from the surface of the sample with a cutter.

(2) The aluminum foil faces of the three samples were directed to the high humidity test, clamped on the three test chambers of the instrument, and the test cavity was tightened.

(3) Set parameter information such as sample thickness, test temperature, and test humidity.

(4) Adjust the pressure of the nitrogen gas so that the humidity in the test chamber reaches the set value, and the nitrogen flow rate adjustment knob is used to make the nitrogen flow rate in the upper and lower chambers reach the standard value.

(5) Click the Start Test option and the test begins. The instrument automatically records the change in moisture content on the low-humid side during the test and calculates the final test results.

6, test results

The water vapor transmission rate test values ​​of the three samples were 0.6365 g/(m2·24h), 0.6789 g/(m2·24h), and 0.7464 g/(m2·24h), respectively.
