Chinese scientists and technicians successfully manufactured the world's first 10,000-ton hydraulic double-acting aluminum extrusion press, filling the gap in China's heavy-duty extrusion equipment. According to relevant experts, this is another major innovation in domestically produced large-scale technology and equipment after China successfully developed 10,000 tons of hydraulic presses in the 1960s.
This 10,000-ton extruder was completed by private company Shandong Junlin Group. In accordance with the market operation method, the Junlin Group used tenders to select R&D and manufacturing units. After more than two years of cooperation with units such as Xi'an Heavy Machinery Research Institute and Shanghai Heavy Machinery Factory, they jointly created this “world's bestâ€.
The large aluminum extruder is a special equipment for producing large-scale, high-precision and complex aluminum alloy profiles, mainly used in aerospace, transportation, shipbuilding and other industries. At present, only a few countries, such as Japan and Germany, can produce large-scale extrusion presses in the world, and less than 10 extrusion presses with a tonnage of more than 5,000 tons globally. The 10,000-ton extrusion press made in China has changed the world's No. 1 position in the 9500-ton extrusion press of KOK.
It is understood that the design pressure of this extruder is 9,000 tons/10,000 tons of two-stage pressure. In the overpressure test, the test pressure reached up to 13,500 tons, far exceeding the design standards. The first time the extruder successfully extrudes qualified products, it can produce special aluminum alloy materials with a maximum section diameter of 970 mm and a length of 60 meters, and a seamless aluminum tube with an outer diameter of 560 millimeters. The annual production capacity of aluminum profiles reaches 1 Ten thousand tons.
