The traditional preservation method of PS plates after development is to wipe and seal with Arabic resin, but this method also has many inconveniences for short live printing. For example, the business that our factory currently undertakes is mostly short version work, ranging from a few hundred to more than a few thousand. Later, we changed a method: Rinse out several developed PS plates, put them into a pool filled with clean tap water in the order of printing on the machine, and the water surface did not pass the printing plate. Use water to isolate the printing plate from the air to avoid oxidation of the printing plate in a short time. In addition, in order to prevent the light from damaging the printing plate, a shade plate was also placed above the pool. It's very convenient to use it when printing, and it's normal when printing. We have used this method to save the printing plate, after printing 80,000 printed works, the effect is not bad.
