PreSens Launches PET Bottle Oxygen Testing

Germany's PreSens is known for its photochemical oxygen and pH sensing elements. At this PETpoint, the company introduced a non-invasive measurement system for oxygen in PET bottles. The system, mounted on the inner wall of the PET bottle, emits a blue optical signal through the Fibox measurement system, and the captured signal represents the corresponding oxygen content. Although the measurement process is only three seconds, it has been guaranteed that reliable information can be stored for at least one year. Special air seals prevent the sensing element from being affected by the cap. Although the sensing element is not directly connected to the electronic element, since the sensing element is composed of a single unit, the system can still adapt to long-term detection.
